Hannah is a member of the class of 2020 and is originally from Lennon, Michigan. She is majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Food and the Environment, and plans to pursue a career in an environmental nonprofit organization after graduation. Outside of class, she is a study group facilitator for the Science Learning Center and an active member of the Michigan Animal Respect Society and Michigan Yoga Club.
Sasha is from Novi, Michigan - a short half hour away from Ann Arbor. She is currently a rising junior on the pre-med track, double majoring in Biomolecular Science and History. Outside of UCC, Sasha is president of the pre-medical fraternity Mu Epsilon Delta, does research at the VA Hospital, and is a SAPAC volunteer.
Maria is a rising junior from Valparaiso, Indiana. As an Organizational Studies major, she focuses on fostering positive business practices through human capital management. She is interested in exploring how businesses can implement effective positive business practices, specifically by developing better leaders and looking at diversity and cultivating talent within organizations to create better spaces. On-campus, Maria is a part of Epsilon Alpha Sigma, Sorority Inc., the Arab Leadership Network, The Michigan Daily, and Students Organize for Syria.
Stacie is a senior in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Digital Studies. She is from Lapeer, Michigan and interned abroad last summer in Barcelona, Spain. In addition to being an Immersion Student Assistant at the Career Center, Stacie stays busy by working as an RA in Mary Markley, a residence hall on campus. After graduation, Stacie hopes to work at Disney, then continue her education with a Masters in Student Affairs after a few years of working.
Alex Vest advises first-year through senior students on a variety of appointments. Alex currently attends Bowling Green State University and is pursuing a M.A. in College Student Personnel where he currently works as a Career Advisor for BGSU's Career Center. He completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Kentucky University, earning a B.A. in History and a B.S. in Sociology. Alex is excited to join the UCC team for the Fall 2019 semester!
Julia is a senior from Naperville, IL studying Political Science and minoring in Race, Gender, and Nation studies. She was a member of PSIP's 2017 cohort, and this is her second year serving as a PSIP Student Coordinator. On-campus outside of PSIP, Julia is a research assistant with the Sociology Department, the Vice President of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, on the student advisory board for the interim sexual misconduct policy, and was a former member of the University's Dance Team.
