Meagan is the Experiential Learning & Immersion Coordinator within the University Career Center. In this role, they are primarily responsible for coordinating student immersions across various industries, engaging with employers, and meeting with undergraduate and graduate students for career coaching appointments (exploration, negotiating, interview strategy, job search tools, career assessments, etc.).
Meagan believes in the power of authentic professionalism and encourages students to explore all areas of interest and be open to new pathways or experiences. They also run the Fashion Career Track and serves as the UCC liaison to the following groups: Latinx (La Casa), AAPI (UAAO), and LGBTQIA+ students.
Meagan identifies in the LGBTQ community and as a first-generation college student. They received their Master's Degree in College Student Development & Counseling from Northeastern University and their Bachelors from Grand Valley State University in Gender Studies.
