When planning an interview day, be sure to review the University academic calendar for semester start and end dates, breaks, holidays and final exams. You will also want to be aware of religious holidays during the academic year.
Please clearly indicate Virtual or On-Campus within your interview schedule request on Handshake.

The University Career Center hosts Job and Internship fairs throughout the academic year. Consider attending one or more of these as part of your recruiting plan.

The University Career Center is the centralized career resource for University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. We provide services to students from all fields of study and all degree levels. However, you may find it useful to connect with other career offices across campus who host interviews:

Our standard interview schedules created on Handshake begin at 8:30 a.m. Eastern, include mid-morning, lunch, and mid-afternoon breaks, and conclude before 5:00 pm Eastern. See below for the start and end times for various interview lengths.
We'll happily make adjustments to your schedules to meet your needs. However, for on-campus visits, University Career Center spaces are available only during our hours of operation, M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
