Winter Career Expo Week Checklist
Use this list to maximize your time and energy for Winter Career Expo Week
- Get that resume reviewed at the Resume Blitz on Tuesday, January 9 from 3 pm to 6 pm
- Plan on what you'll be wearing. Stop by the Clothes Closet, Wednesday, January 10 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to get FREE professional/business casual clothing for that extra bit of confidence
- Practice your elevator pitch
- Attend a program or event leading up to or after a fair
- Download the Career Fair Plus app for all event info
- Print 10 more resumes than organizations/companies you plan on visiting -- just in case
- If you can, bring a messenger bag or padfolio. Backpacks are bulky and can get in the way
- Find and research at least 3 organizations/employers you want to talk to before you attend
