Hi folks!
As the Recruitment Coordinator at the University of Michigan's Career Center, I work to build meaningful connections between a diverse range of employers and our talented student community. My efforts are directed toward empowering students throughout their career journeys, whether it's through personalized one-on-one sessions, group workshops, resume assistance, or exploring various career paths.
Before joining the University of Michigan, I gained invaluable experience in various professional settings. I worked on the COVID-19 Recovery Team at Public Health – Seattle & King County and spent some time at one of Seattle's best bakeries, Sea Wolf Bakers. My career services journey began with three years at the University of Washington's College of the Environment and School of Public Health. Reflecting on my career path, which has been anything but linear, I understand the complexities and challenges students face, especially as a first-generation student myself. This drives my eagerness to support students at every stage of their career development. My goal at the Career Center is not just to help students find jobs and internships but to empower them with the confidence and tools they can use during their entire career journey.
Originally hailing from Spokane, Washington, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Environmental Health from the University of Washington - Seattle. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my border collie, engaging in cooking and crafting activities, and getting outside.
