Campus Presentations

Host University of Michigan students at on-campus or virtual recruiting events!

Step 1: Reserving space on campus

We recommend you contact University Conference & Event Services to reserve space for your in-person events.  Students from all class levels and fields of study are familiar with these venues.

When choosing a date, review the University academic calendar for potential conflicts.
Spaces on campus often fill up quickly; we recommend you book early.

Step 2: Listing your event (virtual or in-person)

Once you have confirmed your presentation date, time, and location or virtual platform, you may create an event listing with these details and a description through your account on Handshake, our online recruiting system.

It will then be visible to University of Michigan students within their own Handshake accounts and also included in our office calendar of events, as well as Happening@Michigan.

For best exposure, we advise listing your event at least one week in advance.

*Please note that Handshake event requests are solely for publicity/promotion to students, and are not for booking/confirming space reservations.

If the above facilities are unable to host your event, or if you prefer a different kind of setting, consider the following venues:

On or adjacent to central campus

Downtown Ann Arbor

Destination Ann Arbor can also be a helpful resource when planning your visit, not only for event spaces, but also for restaurants, hotels, events and more.
