Career Coach
University Career Center

Hello! Whether you’re just starting to explore what you want to do or weighing your first job offer, I’m here to help. As a Career Coach at the University Career Center (UCC), I work with students on everything from career exploration and finding opportunities to grow their skills, to articulating their experiences in resumes and interviews, to negotiating offers with confidence.

Before joining the UCC, I spent five years at a national civil rights organization, including three years as Executive Director. In that role, I led strategy and budget planning for a 20-person organization. I also worked on federal and state policy addressing hate crimes, workplace discrimination, and school bullying.

My higher education experience includes serving as an academic advisor at Wayne State University, where I supported undergraduate students who majored in psychology and anthropology. I have also previously held administrative and student-facing roles at the University of Michigan.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Master of Education in Educational Psychology, and a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Wayne State University.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and young son, cheering on the Detroit Pistons and Lions, and reading.
