PSIP SCHOLARSHIP
As part of the 50th Anniversary of PSIP, the PSIP Scholarship was created by program alumni for students with financial need who secure unpaid or underpaid internships. This scholarship is need-based and can help with summer expenses such as housing, food/groceries, transportation to and from work, etc.
Eligibility:
- Students must be in PSIP and the current cohort (alumni cannot apply)
- Students must first seek out funding through their school/college, such as the LSA Internship Scholarship or Ford School of Public Policy scholarships
- If students still have unmet need beyond this, they can apply for a limited amount through the PSIP Scholarship
- Students must first accept their internship and provide documentation showing proof of internship and stipend (or unpaid status) before they can apply.
Applicants are considered based on their financial need, internship type, stipend amount, and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
