André Fisher was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. He moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan in the Fall of 2011. In Fall 2016, André transferred to the University of Michigan. He currently double-majors in Economics and International Studies, with intentions to pursue a career in public health policy. He is a member of the Student Advisory Group on Engagement, and is a student collaborator on a number of research initiatives at the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation.
When he is not studying or, taking a break from school-related activities, he finds relaxation in playing soccer, taking road-trips, doing photography, dancing and writing poetry. One of André's paramount aims in life is to leave an indelible mark of goodwill on his world.
