The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is getting ready to launch for the 2014-2015 academic school year!! WRP is a federal program that recruits current students and recent graduates with disabilities and refers these students to paid internships and full-time positions with federal agencies and private sector employers.

WRP is managed by The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP) and the U.S. Department of Defense's Office of Diversity Management & Equal Opportunity (ODMEO). WRP began in 1995 and since then over 6,000 students and recent grads have found internships and full-time positions nationwide.

To be eligible for the WRP, students must be current, full-time undergraduate or graduate students with a disability. A recent graduate who graduated in October, 2013 or later would still be eligible to participate in WRP.

Students can begin to register on August 26th. There will be a mandatory WRP information session on Tuesday, September 9th from 6 PM to 7:30 PM located in the Program Room at the Career Center.
