In early May, The Career Center will be transitioning to a new platform called "Handshake". It will replace Career Center Connector. With this new tool you can:

  • explore job and internship openings
  • engage in on-campus recruiting opportunities with organizations
  • track and develop your goals and next steps
  • identify events and workshops, including connecting with Career Center staff, graduate/professionals school and employers

Login to Handshake will be available to students in early May. During this time of transition, it is highly encouraged that you download any documents (resume, cover letter, etc) that you have saved in the current system now.

After April 30 Career Center Connector will no longer be accessible to Michigan students and recent graduates. Any information you wish to save from the system, should be done so before the end of the month. This transition does not affect access to other Career Center resources such as the Reference Letter Service or AdviseStream.

The Career Center is available to current students and "new grads" within 18 mos of their graduation date. For more information on access, please see our Alumni page.
