Do you want an opportunity to meet employers in a small group setting? Take advantage of the University Career Center's (UCC) Career Crawls! This past Fall Expo Career Crawl gave students the opportunity to speak with employers ranging from the Marine Corps to Amazon.

This event consisted of about 20 different tables with about 3-5 students and one employer at each table. Similarly to a speed dating setting, each recruiter had about 10 minutes to speak to students at their table about themselves, the company they work for, and the opportunities they are offering.

Students had the chance to ask recruiters any questions they had about their company or just about what they look for in students overall. After the 10 minutes passed, the recruiters would switch with a different recruiter from a different company and the new recruiter would introduce themselves and start a new conversation.

This event gave students the opportunity to see a wide range of employers and job fields to help see what they would be interested in. The last 15 minutes of the event allowed students to travel to any table they wanted in order to give them the opportunity to talk to a recruiter they hadn't been able to speak with or to recieve more information from a recruiter they talked to earlier in the night.

The event had a large turnout overall with a very diverse group of students and employers.
