One of the more frequent questions I get from students studying science fields is, "Besides healthcare/medicine, what ELSE can I do with a science degree?" There are myriad options, but sometimes identifying those opportunities seems tricky for students. My pick this week is a perfect example of one such postion. L'OREAL, the global cosmetics and beauty brand is hiring for a Chemist in their Skincare, Makeup and Haircare lab. If you have ever wandered through Sephora and pondered why some shampoos work better for certain kinds of hair, considered how to achieve a perfect lipstick red, or wished you could create a nail polish that lasts longer than anything on the market - this might be a great fit for you! Calling all researchers and data analysts, this role requires a solid understanding of media math and the current media landscape in order to complete day-to-day linear and digital sales research requests and projects using syndicated research tools ranging from rating requests to ROI analysis.
