EMILY'S PICK: EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES Campaign Assistant - (RED)

A common theme in my work with students is wanting to combine an interest in business with an interest in an organization with an underlying social justice-related cause. I wanted to pass along an opportunity that I came across on Handshake for students interested in getting experience working in marketing for a non profit. (RED) is an organization dedicated to work towards an AIDS-free generation, and they are currently looking for a seasonal Campaign Assistant.
This role involves working closely with the Project Manager on the EAT (RED) DRINK (RED) SAVE LIVES Campaign. Although this position is unpaid, it is a great opportunity to build on marketing and brand strategy, as well as event planning, and research on culinary brands and food chains for the project. Students with social media knowledge, team work experience, and strong organizational skills who are looking to gain experience in these areas are encouraged to apply. This position is also based out of exciting New York City. I found this position by searching by "industry" and selecting "non-profit/volunteering" and setting my location to New York City.
