NATE'S PICK: Social Media and Videography at University of Michigan Athletics
APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 13, 2016

Interested in digital/social media? Here’s a great opportunity to assist in a number of areas related to social media, email, video, and graphic design for one of the most recognizable brands in the world — your University, specifically the Athletics Department.

I ran across this opportunity while searching for the keyword “video” in Handshake. Here’s your chance to get some great experience while adding to your portfolio. Teamwork, problem solving, professionalism, and communications skills are skills that you can take with you anywhere you go and I imagine that you’ll get plenty of practice in all of those areas working in the Athletics Department across so many sports, with so many people.

Plus the odds are really high that the connections you’d make, whether with fellow students or those already in the Athletics Department, are going to help you build a community of people you can depend on and reach out to in the future should you decide to stay or look elsewhere.

Again this seems like an awesome opportunity and that’s not even taking into consideration all the great athletic events you’d be a part of. Check it out. Deadline to apply May 13th! #GoBlue #ConnectUMich
