NATE'S PICK: Pioneer Internship Program at Deloitte
APPLICATION DEADLINE: February 25, 2018
If you’re a freshman and you’re looking for an internship… here’s a great opportunity. Deloitte, known for helping other companies solve problems, has a 'Pioneer Internship Program'. This looks like a great six-week experience in which you get on the job training and real-world exposure. As with learning most things, you’re going to make mistakes and it's important that you have a chance to get feedback and learn from those experiences in order to really grow. The Pioneer Internship will have coaches and mentors helping you along the way! To me it the Pioneer Internship seems like a project-based course you’d take here at Michigan, where you work in a group to identify and solve problems. How cool is you could be doing that while getting paid to learn from experts at one of the top companies in the world!? Obviously you’ll still need to pull your own weight once you get there. But that shouldn’t be a problem if you’re excited about problem solving AND you're open to coaching/feedback. The deadline to apply is in February. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity!
