Angel Morton, Information Service Manager

ANGEL'S PICK: Challenge Detriot Fellow

Dear Fellow Detroiters,

No one takes care of our city better than us! Detroiters are passionate, hard-working, and innovative. That's why I'm amped about the Challenge Detroit Fellowship opportunity! Challenge Detroit challenges "leaders to learn by doing through a year of meaningful employment and intellectual work with area nonprofits designed to positively impact our diverse, culturally vibrant city."

The fellowship cohort will consist of about 30 innovative leaders from Detroit and across the United States. It begins in September 2018. During the year-long program fellows live, work, play, give, and lead in Detroit. Monday-Thursday fellows work for top regional companies such as DTE Energy, Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit, and Marketing Associates. Every Friday, fellows utilize design thinking and innovative collaboration in partnership with area nonprofits to work on projects that will positively impact the community.

If this something you can get behind (and you love Detroit as much as I do), this might just be the opportunity for you.
