Checking the Status of Your Reference Letter File
By using your UM uniqname and password, you can check the status
of your file anytime. If you don’t have a UM uniqname and
account, you can contact The Career Center’s Reference Letter Service
(RLS) at 734/764-7459 or e-mail rlservice@umich.edu and
the staff will be glad to assist you.
Review
on-line the status of your file: check to see if your writers have indeed submitted letters on your behalf and see when and where your letters were sent upon your request. Contact the RLS if you have any questions. Please note that during peak times (October through February), it may take up to three (3) business days for a letter received by the RLS to appear on your online account—please plan accordingly.
