Quick Tips
Follow these tips to make the most of the Medical School Information Fair

  • Wondering who’s coming to the Fair? Take a look at the list of participating schools (below).
  • Prioritize your list of schools to make effective use of your time at the Fair.
  • First impressions count so give some thought to what you wear. Business casual works for the Medical School Information Fair, however, keep in mind “business casual” doesn’t mean “classroom casual.” Bottom line—you want the schools to focus on the content of your conversation… not on what you’re wearing.
  • Bring your questions for the schools (i.e., what are course offerings?) and be prepared to answer questions (i.e., when do you want to attend medical school?). No need to bring a resume.
  • Use The Career Center Reference Letter Service to manage your letters of recommendation. Most graduate/professional schools will requests letters of reference as an important part of the application process. It’s most helpful to request letters of reference from GSIs/faculty during current courses rather than waiting until application time which might be several semesters later. Our Reference Letter Service will help you get an early start on this important part of the application process.
