Career Assessment Tools

We are often asked, “Is there a ‘test’ I can take to help me figure out what career best suits me?” The University Career Center offers a variety of career assessment tests to meet your needs. We have individual career counseling sessions for your style and interests. Talk with a career coach during advising hours or contact the Information Desk (734-764-7460) to arrange your career assessment.

Professional Assessment

If you would like an in-depth career counseling experience that utilizes career assessment instruments to help in your choice of academic major or career, you may want to arrange an hour-long appointment with a career coach at the University Career Center (UCC). You can work with a coach to incorporate the results of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), CliftonStrengths (CS) and/or the Strong Interest Inventory (SII) into your decisions.

If you are interested in taking an assessment, contact us to discuss your decision-making strategies and the assessment that will be most helpful for you. (Note: If you want to take a particular assessment and have some financial concerns please contact us at 734-764-7460 or email Joelle Fundaro Randall at [email protected] the UCC offers scholarships)
